Police Looking for Witnesses of Collision (Photo) - 03/13/19

Gresham, Ore.— Today at approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to a bicyclist struck by a vehicle near the 2700 block of West Powell Blvd. A witness stated that two vehicles may have been racing when the bicyclist was struck. The vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene and the driver was cooperative. The other vehicle left the scene. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive. He was wearing a helmet.

Police are looking for any witnesses of the collision or the possible racing prior to the collision. No arrests or citations have been issued at this time. The investigation is on-going. If you know anything about the collision you are asked to call the Gresham Police Tip Line at 503.618.2719.
