Gresham, Ore.— Last night around 9:45 p.m., police responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on SE 182 Ave. near NW 3 St. Police arrived on scene and found that the pedestrian was deceased. The pedestrian is identified as 71-year-old Nghi Vu of Gresham. The driver of the car being 50-year-old Kunavuth Thor of Happy Valley. Thor remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and no citations have been issued.
