FBLA Students Win at State!
Granite Falls High School students place in the top 10 at the state competition held in Spokane, Washington April 19-22, 2023, and are now headed to Nationals in Atlanta, GA.
On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Granite Falls High School and Crossroads High School hosted a state send-off for Future Business Leaders of America students Virginia Diaz-Marroquin, Kane Hatch, Alex Marroquin, Peyton Myers, Aster Nava-Mathis, Dante Nesbitt, Parker Sherwood, Kelvin Wilkins, Hunter Woods, Avery Coleman and Andrew Williams, led by advisors Mrs. Sherry Lund and Mr. Dwayne Johnson.
Students participated in leadership workshops, competitions, awards ceremonies, a dance, mic night, team dinner and much more! Granite Falls High School had two students that placed in the top 10 and were on stage in front of 2000 students, from large and small high schools across the state. Sophomore, Hunter Woods earned 8th place in the Intro to Business Concepts category and secured a place as an alternate to Nationals. Sophomore Kelvin Wilkins took 3rd place in the Accounting 1 competition and secured a spot to attend Nationals!
