The Gladstone Police Department will continue to work High Visibility DUII Enforcement patrols in the month of January, 2018. These enhanced DUII patrols are funded through a grant administered by Oregon Impact. Last month, the Gladstone Police Department arrested 17 drivers for DUII.
High visibility enforcement, increasing the number of officers on the streets who aggressively seek drunk drivers, is designed to deter people from driving after they have been drinking.
The City of Gladstone is dedicated to the safety of its residents and these enhanced DUII patrols are just one way we are able increase the safety for everyone who lives in and visits the city.
Everyone plays an important part in keeping our highways and city streets safe. Immediately report aggressive, dangerous, and intoxicated drivers to Clackamas County Communications at 503-655-8211 or call 9-1-1 if it is an emergency.
