Attend a Free Info Session on WorkSource, PTAC, and SBAP Programs on 9/24 (Photo) - 09/13/18

(VANCOUVER, WA) – On Monday, September 24th businesses are invited to attend a free, informative event on three programs housed by the Greater Vancouver Chamber, which do not require membership to utilize. The event is called "WorkSource, SBAP & PTAC - Everything You Need to Know" and will kick off at 1pm at 1101 Broadway Suite 100, Conference Room A. If you’re struggling with human resources, or curious about your options in government contracting or one-on-one small business counseling (start-ups or in early stages of business) this event is for you.

At this workshop you will learn about the comprehensive suite of employment related services provided by WorkSource, by the GVCC's Business Solutions Coordinator, Paul Montague. He will show you the resources to help businesses get their jobs posted, screen candidates, train new employees, retrain existing employees, and programs to help avoid downsizing when times are tough.  All of these services are funded by Federal programs and grants, and are consequently free to business owners.

You will also learn about the PTAC Government Contracting Program, which can assist you in finding, bidding and winning local, state and federal contracts. Also, you will discover the business resources available to you as part of our partnership with the City of Vancouver through the Small Business Assistance Program. This program is available for businesses within city limits to assist them starting a business or take an existing business to the next level.
