Vegetation Fire - Interstate 5 -09/07/23
Grants Pass, Oregon
At 11:52 PM Grants Pass Fire was dispatched to a report of vegetation fire on Interstate 5 at mile marker 58 southbound. Engines arrived to find ΒΌ acre burning slowly in grass and brush. Forward progress of the fire was stopped with no injuries or damage to structures. The fire is presumed to be human-caused with signs of transient activity in the area. Oregon State Police also responded to the incident.
