Intoxicated Driver Hits Two Pedestrians (Photo) - 11/02/26
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Forest Grove Police Department Officers responded to an injury crash near the intersection of Main Street and 19th Avenue. It was reported a vehicle hit two pedestrians.
On arrival, officers located two injured adult females. One female was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and one female sustained minor injuries and declined to be transported to the hospital. The female transported to the hospital has since been released.
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers. The driver was identified as 26-year-old Julian Brito of Forest Grove. Julian was arrested for Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Fourth Degree, DUII, Reckless Endangering, and Reckless Driving. Julian’s blood alcohol content (BAC) was determined to be 0.22%. Julian was lodged at the Washington County Jail, and his vehicle was impounded.
A portion of Main Street was closed for approximately an hour due to the crash. The Forest Grove Police Department was assisted by American Medical Response (AMR) and Forest Grove Fire and Rescue.
