KENNEWICK, WA – The Finley School Board took action during their regular meeting on Monday, October 18 to begin the process of selecting the district’s next superintendent. The district has retained the services of Educational Service District 123 as search consultant.
Current Superintendent Lance Hahn announced his planned resignation during the September board meeting. Superintendent Hahn will be retiring effective July 1, 2022. Finley School Board Chair Dawn Senger says that Superintendent Hahn will be greatly missed.
“His work ethic and passion for students and education is top notch,” states Senger. “The Board would like to thank Lance for his steadfast dedication in pursuit of excellence during his tenure with FSD and being a focused partner as we have prioritized the safe reopening of schools during the pandemic.”
