Evergreen Public Schools Recruiting Members To Serve On Equity Advisory Committee -09/08/20

As part of its on-going work on equity and inclusion practices, Evergreen Public Schools is recruiting up to a dozen community members to serve on its Equity Advisory Committee. The committee will advise district leaders in identifying and eliminating systems, policies, procedures and practices that create inequities among students and staff. 

Evergreen Public Schools is in the midst of an Equity Audit, led by newly appointed Executive Director of Equity and Inclusion Klarissa Hightower. The results of the audit are expected in November and will serve as the basis for the work plan for the committee’s work moving forward.
