2nd Alarm Fire Damages West Eugene Business (Photo) -09/15/24

Eugene, OR.  Eugene Springfield Fire is on scene of a 2nd alarm commercial structure fire in west Eugene.  Just after 3AM on September 15th, a Eugene Police officer was flagged down by an individual reporting a fire in the 600 block of McKinley.  Arriving 5 minutes after dispatch, crews from Station 2 arrived to find heavy fire from the commercial occupancy.  9 minutes after the first units arrived a second alarm was called.  The fire is under control, and under investigation.  In all 6 Engines, 3 Trucks, 3 Battalion Chiefs, 2 Medics, 2 Deputy Fire Marshals and 1 Support Unit responded.
