New ESD Board Member, Cara Broeckel
Cara Broeckel Appointed Newest Board Member to ESD 123 - 04/01/21

PASCO, WA – Educational Service District 123 board of directors voted unanimously to appoint Cara Broeckel as the agency’s newest member during a special meeting on March 31, 2021. Ms. Broeckel is filling the vacancy for District #4, which includes all of Columbia and Touchet school districts, as well as parts of Pasco.

Ms. Broeckel currently serves as the Program Operations Director at Pinnacle Peak Administrators in Richland, where she specializes in strategic planning, operational leadership, and project improvements. As the child of a retired educator, a parent of two young boys, and an active community member, Ms. Broeckel says that she was attracted to the ESD’s open board position because of the ESD’s focus on educational support services and administration.

“My husband and I moved to Pasco in 2015,” says Ms. Broeckel. “Our oldest son is a third grader, and our younger son will start kindergarten in September.  I’m thrilled to work with the ESD 123 board members and staff.”

At the regular board meeting on April 29th, the ESD 123 board of directors will officially swear in Ms. Broeckel. For more information, contact ESD 123 Director of Communications Molly Curtiss at tiss@esd123.org">mcurtiss@esd123.org or 509.544.5787.
