Artists Gather At Director Park In Downtown Portland For A Live Painting Event -08/22/23

Portland, Ore. – 30 Portland artists will compete for $16,000 cash prizes in the Director Park Live Paint Off a new, live painting competition this week in downtown Portland.
Join us to celebrate the inaugural Live Paint Off presented by Jordan Director Schnitzer and The Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation co-sponsored by Downtown Portland Clean & Safe, Converge 45 Biennial, Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at PSU, Willamette Week, and the Revitalize Portland Coalition.
This free public event is a new way to revitalize downtown Portland by bringing artists and Portlanders closer together.
The Director Park Live Paint Off event coincides with the opening weekend of Converge 45 Biennial, a city-wide contemporary art gathering at over 17 museums, galleries, and art centers across Portland.
