Dougy Center's Reflection Benefit Celebrates Connection, Hope And Healing (Photo) - 04/24/23

Dougy Center's Reflection Benefit & Auction will celebrate connection, hope, and healing on Friday, May 12, 2023, 5:30 p.m., at the Portland Art Museum and online at dougy.org. Since 1982, Dougy Center has served more than 60,000 local children, teens, young adults, and their adult family members grieving the death of a loved one. Dougy Center’s programs are provided at no cost to families, and Reflection, presented by KinderCare Learning Companies, is the organization’s largest fundraising event.

Reflection features a fabulous auction, including original works of art made by Dougy Center participants, and culminates with Dougy Centers 26th Annual Porsche Boxster Raffle drawing. This is a unique ending to a great evening of people joining together in-person and virtually to ensure no child grieves alone. Honorary co-chairs for the Reflection Benefit are Dougy Center supporters Amanda Carlson and Vanessa Valencia.

“Reflection is a celebration of our generous community who have supported Dougy Center for more than 40 years,” said Dougy Center Executive Director Brennan Wood. Having personally benefited from Dougy Center after my mom died when I was 12, I know how critical it is to provide hope to other kids who have gone through a similar experience.

In addition to KinderCare Learning Companies, Reflection is sponsored by OnPoint Community Credit Union, Hahn and Associates, Inc., Regence, Pacific Power, Porsche Beaverton, FOX12 Oregon, The Standard, Reliable Credit Association, Magaurn Video Media, Larry & Co., Urban Resources Inc., Scott Edwards Architecture, Lawrence PR, NW Natural, Archivist, Beneficial State Bank, Capstone Partners, The Greenbrier Companies, Dignity Memorial, Heritage Bank, Pacific Office Automation, Pacific West Bank, Providence Health & Services, The Varga Group, Vista Capital Partners, and Wilcox & Company, PC.
