- A blue slip identifies the correct ballot: Recent registration changes may occur after ballots have been printed and may result in a second ballot being issued. If you receive a second ballot containing a blue slip of paper, that is the correct ballot to vote and return.
- Ballot not received? If you have not received your ballot by Friday, October 23, 2026, please contact or visit the Douglas County Clerk’s Office.
- Review both sides: Before returning your ballot, make sure you have reviewed and completed both sides of the ballot.
- Sign your return envelope: Your ballot cannot be processed without the required signature on the return envelope. Sign where your printed name and address appear.
