PLEASE CELEBRATE LIFE EVENTS IN THE SAFEST WAY THIS SUMMER

Summer is on the way and some of you may be planning to attend a wedding or get married; enjoy an outdoor concert or festival; celebrate an anniversary or host a big birthday bash; graduate from high school or college; travel to see friends and family or finally plan a long-overdue beach get-away.  There is no doubt that being able to celebrate life’s events with your friends and family in-person and actually going to visit a destination for a vacation is definitely one of the most missed things during the COVID-19 pandemic.  And, right now the most effective solution to safely attend and host events and travel outside our area is by getting the COVID-19 vaccine.  If you have not got the shot yet, we encourage you to talk with your health care provider to get the facts about COVID-19 vaccines to see if it is right for you.  If you’re already vaccinated try to make some time to help someone else get vaccinated today by helping them make an appointment, offering to give them a ride or providing access to information resources.  Also, if you are out and about or traveling make sure you know, check and understand the local guidelines for local businesses, events and destinations.  The COVID-19 vaccine has been proven to be a very effective tool for virus protection for those that have chosen to get their shot.  So, as you plan your future events and destinations, think about your safety, the safety of others and the opening up of businesses, along with the lessening of restrictions as we get closer to achieving those vaccination targets.
