The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office Issues Level 3 (Go Now) And Level 2 (Be Set) Evacuation Notice In Redmond’s Dry Canyon - 07/17/26


Redmond, Ore. -- A new wildfire has ignited in the Redmond area, prompting Level 2 (Be Set) and Level 3 (Go Now) evacuation actions. Emergency officials have raised evacuation levels to Level 3 (GO NOW) for areas within Redmond’s Dry Canyon. Level 3 indicates extreme and immediate danger. Residents in the affected areas must evacuate now.

 

Areas at Level 3 – GO NOW:

  • Canyon Dr between Maple Dr and Black Butte Blvd
  • East side of Canyon to 8th, from Fir to Kingwood

***Temporary Shelter: Evacuated residents may go to Highland Baptist Church for temporary shelter***

 

Areas of Level 2 - BE SET:

  • NW 8th St to NW 9th St
