Deschutes County Sheriff's Office Searching for Missing Bend Area Man (Photo) - 09/17/22

John McPheeters has been located safe and is no longer of interest. The Sheriff's Office would like the community for their assistance in locating him.

Missing Person: John William McPheeters, 64 year old male

 

NARRATIVE:

 

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Bend area man last seen on September 10th around 10:00 am. John McPheeters, 64, was reported missing this morning. He was last known to be living off the east side of Hwy 97 near mile post 132, just north of Bend. McPheeters is known to frequent the area of Robal Lane and Hwy 97.

 

McPheeters is described as a white male, 5’ 8”, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with medium length brown hair and a gray beard. McPheeters last known clothing description is a tie dye t-shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and an unknown color jacket. McPheeters also routinely carries a blue duffle bag.

 

A recent photo of McPheeters is attached to this press release. 

 

Anyone with information or that may have seen McPheeters is asked to call non-emergency dispatch at 541-693-6911.
