NARRATIVE:
For approximately the past six months the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit has been investigating Jason Williams for the delivery of controlled substances within Deschutes County. Based on the investigation, detectives gained evidence needed to obtain a search warrant for the involved residence.
On August 11, 2021, Street Crimes Detectives with the assistance of the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team (CODE), conducted a search warrant at the Bend residence where Williams was staying. During the search warrant service detectives located and seized over two pounds of methamphetamine, evidence of drug sales, and approximately $1800 in US currency.
Williams was initially transported to SCMC in Bend for an assessment and later transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail where he was lodged on the above listed charges.
