Driver: Lela Marie Chabino , 81 years of age,  Redmond

Pedestrian: Anna Louise Jondall, 80 years of age, Redmond

Vehicle: 2008 Honda Pilot

Location: NW Odin Falls Way near NW Frank Way

Deputies determined during the investigation that Anna Jondall was walking west on Odin Falls Way with the flow of traffic. Lela Chabino was driving west on Odin Falls Way when she struck Jondall.

The results of this investigation are being forwarded to the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office for review.

Speed and alcohol are not contributing factors to this tragic accident.

Driver: Adult female, Redmond

Pedestrian: Adult female, Redmond

On November 25, 2020 at approximately 2:10 PM the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a pedestrian that was struck by a motor vehicle. This incident took place in the Tetherow Crossing subdivision north of Redmond.

Deputies responded to the scene along with the Redmond Fire Department. The pedestrian was determined to be deceased due to her injuries.

The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

No further information will be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing, and releasing further information could hamper the investigation.
