Tri-County Major Incident Team Activated for Deputy Involved Shooting in Bend (Photo) - 11/29/19

Release Date: November 29, 2019

NARRATIVE:

A deputy-involved shooting has occurred involving one of our deputies in the area of Robal Lane and Hunnell Road, at the north end of Bend.  The shooting occurred at 6:08 pm.  The Tri-County Major Incident Team is being called out to the scene. The adult male subject in this incident has been transported to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend.  His condition is currently unknown. Our deputy was not injured. Any future information will be released by the DA’s Office and Major Incident Team.

In accordance with our office's standard practice, one deputy at the scene will be placed on administrative leave pending the conclusion of the investigation.
