DPSST NFPA Fire Officer Task Force MEETING SCHEDULED -01/04/21

The DPSST NFPA Fire Officer Task Force will hold a regular meeting at 0900 on January 7, 2021. The meeting will be held in the Victor G. Atiyeh Boardroom A145, however due to COVID-19 safety protocols there will be no in-person attendance other than DPSST staff. • Discussion identifying changes between the 2014 Edition of NFPA 1021 and the 2020 Edition of NFPA 1021

       o Does the Task Force want to adopt the 2020 Edition into permanent Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR)?

• Discuss NFPA Fire Officer Application for Certification

• Discuss NFPA Fire Officer Task Books

• Discuss NFPA Fire Officer Guide to Certification

       o What courses/academies will cover the training components for the FO series?

• Discuss OAR as related to NFPA 1021

Administrative Announcement

This is a public meeting, subject to the public meeting law and it will be recorded. Deliberation of issues will only be conducted by NFPA Fire Officer Task Force members unless permitted by the Chair. Individuals who engage in disruptive behavior that impedes official business will be asked to stop being disruptive or leave the meeting. Additional measures may be taken to have disruptive individuals removed if their continued presence poses a safety risk to the other persons in the room or makes it impossible to continue the meeting
