Oregon Department Of Human Services Will Host A Free Food Market July 18 In Portland (Photo) -07/14/23

(Salem) – The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) in partnership with Northeast Emergency Food Program and the Oregon Food Bank will be hosting a free food market at its Portland East Branch Office at 11826 NE Glisan St in Portland, on July 18 from 1 – 3 p.m. 

Located in the parking lot of the ODHS office, the free food market will have free and fresh fruits, vegetables and pantry staples. 

The free food market is open to all and people are encouraged to bring their own bag or box. It is not necessary to be receiving services or benefits from ODHS and no identification is required. 

People who wish to apply for cash, food, childcare and medical benefits in person will be able to.  

There will be Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Navigators available for people who receive SNAP who wish to learn more about the SNAP Training and Employment Program.
