Oregon Department of Human Services' offices moving to shared Corvallis location - 03/13/18

Corvallis, Ore. -- Oregon Department of Human Services' Child Welfare, Self-Sufficiency, and Vocational Rehabilitation programs in Corvallis will move to 4170 SW Research Way. Current locations will close at 5 p.m., Friday, March 16. The new location will open to the public at 10 a.m., Monday, March 19.

The DHS programs are moving into a new facility from locations across the city. The single site will help facilitate connections between the programs to more efficiently meet customer needs and support service integration goals.

"This location encompasses several large conference rooms to support human services community meetings and is conveniently located near other community service agencies," says Bryan Campbell, VR branch manager.

The office will be served by bus route C3. https://www.corvallisoregon.gov/cts/page/cts-route-c3

"We have a Child Welfare visitation room sponsored by community businesses and local churches that will greatly benefit our families," says Marco Benavides, District 4 Child Welfare and Self Sufficiency district manager. "DHS is very appreciative of the community involvement and support. We look forward to serving the community at our new co-located building," says Marcos.
