On Monday, November 20, 2017, at 5:58 pm, Douglas County Dispatch received a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash near the Log Cabin Grocery (4751 NE Stephens Street, Roseburg.)
Deputies determined the pedestrian, 62 year-old Clel Huntley of Roseburg, was crossing Stephens Street while in the designated crosswalk when he was struck by a Dodge Caravan driven by 69 year-old Roseburg resident Nancy Jewell.
Huntley was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg with non-life threatening injuries.
Jewell was cited for Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian.
