On Friday, August 30, 2019, at approximately 3:33 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officers responded to a residence in the area of Southeast 174th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found 19-year-old Logan Nettleton suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
Officers also located a second victim, an adult male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The male was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There was a young child in the residence at the time of the shooting. The child was not harmed.
