Reward Offered in Northeast Portland Homicide - Crime Stoppers Featured Case #18-07 (Photo) - 01/19/18

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a homicide that occurred at Northeast Portland's Fernhill Park.

On January 8, 2018, at 9:32 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire at Fernhill Park, located in the 6000 block of Northeast 37th Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and found 25-year-old Cody Bennett Oller deceased. The Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined that Oller's death was the result of a gunshot wound. Oller was living in the Portland area but was originally from Kansas.

At this point in the investigation, there is no suspect information in this case.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.

Information about any unsolved homicide is eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. Information about any other unsolved felony crime is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects. Links can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
