OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

The Lower Columbia Major Crimes Team’s independent investigation of the officer involved
shooting that occurred in Longview on September 2, 2023, is ongoing.

The Longview Police Department officers involved in this incident have been identified as:

Officer Matt Dennis – Officer Dennis has been with the Longview Police Department for 8 years, is
assigned to the Patrol Division and is a Patrol K-9 handler.

Officer Bri Cummo – Officer Cummo has been with the Longview Police Department for 2 years
and is assigned to the Patrol Division.

Officer Seth Libbey – Officer Libbey has been with the Longview Police Department for 14 years
and is assigned to the Patrol Division.

The involved officers have submitted statements to LCMCT investigators.
