DEATH INVESTIGATION A22-8081

SEPTEMBER 16, 2022

 

At 0818 hours of September 3^rd, 2022 Cowlitz 911 received a report of a body in the river near Kapstone, 300 Fibre Way, Longview.  Deputies responded to the scene and recovered the body of a male subject, which was turned over to the coroner’s office.  The subject was later identified as Dustin M. Frostad, age 38, of Longview. 

An autopsy has been conducted.  The cause of death is undetermined at this time. Toxicology and other diagnostic reports are pending.  The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information that would assist in this investigation to contact Detective Jason Hammer at 360-577-3092.
