A21-141 – DEATH INVESTIGATION
JULY 2, 2021
On January 11, 2021, 30-year-old Kelso resident Joshua D. Frazier was reported as a missing person. Initial investigation by the Kelso Police Department revealed that Frazier may have been assaulted on January 7, 2021, at 101 Pacific Ave Spur. The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation of the assault report, as it occurred outside of city limits.
Joshua Frazier’s body was located in a body of water near Pacific Ave Spur on February 20, 2021. An autopsy was conducted and determined the cause of death to be exposure and drowning, following blunt force head trauma. Detectives determined that Frazier was assaulted at 101 Pacific Ave Spur and identified multiple suspects, who have now been arrested and booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on the following charges:
Christina L. Bergman, 32, of Kelso – Assault 2nd Degree, Kidnapping 1st Degree
James E. Bigbeaver, 24, Transient – Assault 2nd Degree
Jerrie P. Larsen, 32, Everett – Assault 2nd Degree
