Two Dogs Rescued From Motorhome Fire (Photo) -08/25/24

Kelso, WA- Firefighters from Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue rescued two dogs inside a motorhome on fire just after 3 pm in the 1400 block of S. 6^th Ave Sunday afternoon.  Firefighters were alerted by the owners that they were still inside and retrieved them.  The motorhome was fully extinguished within minutes of their arrival.  Both dogs, Pitbull breeds, suffered minor burns; one was treated for smoke inhalation.  No other injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire was related to electrical deterioration, according to fire officials.
