Morning structure fire under investigation (Photo) - 12/01/19

Longview, Wa- Firefighters from Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue and the City of Longview Fire Department responded to a structure fire Sunday morning just after 7:30 in the 4500 block of Pennsylvania Street.  Arriving fire crews began attacking the fire; fifty percent of the single wide mobile home was involved. The fire was extinguished in less than an hour. The estimated damage to the home and its contents totaled just over $31,500, according to fire officials.  Four fire engines and one chief officer responded to the incident. Cowlitz County Sheriff's deputies and Public Works also responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation; no injuries were reported.
