Join your neighbors in supporting a welcoming space for wildlife and the wild at heart! (Photo) - 12/12/17

VANCOUVER, WA (December 12, 2017) -- What could warm your heart this winter more than joining your community in supporting a program that reaches over 6,000 students and 16,000 people each year? In 2017, Columbia Springs once again saw record numbers of participants for our science-focused field trips, nature festivals, guided walks, volunteer events, and sustainable living workshops; this doesn't include the countless many that come to walk our trails and enjoy a bit of nature-time. We need you to join our community of supporters who, like you, believe in the importance of nature, education, and recreation in our lives. In order to keep our programs and events free or low cost, while continuing to meet increasing demand for our services, we need your help.
Your support helps us to create more positive experiences, like those had by these visitors: "This is an amazing gem in Vancouver... Definitely recommend you to visit,"; "These [Columbia Springs workshops] have been my favorite part about moving to Washington,"; "Of all the summer camps my daughters have tried, this is their absolute favorite. It is a beautiful place, offers hands-on education in nature, with a warm and enthusiastic staff!" To ensure everyone has equal access to have experiences like these, we need your support to keep our programs free or low-cost and to offer scholarships for those with the inability to pay. You can support our work by going to columbiasprings.org/donate; every donation helps us make 2018 another record-setting year! As a "thank you" for donating, we can send you a shirt, hat, or other Columbia Springs gifts so that you can wear your pride around town!
Columbia Springs provides our community a unique setting where educational experiences foster greater awareness of the natural world, inspiring stewardship. We envision a community of lifelong learners sharing the bond of responsible care of the natural world, helping to preserve our quality of life. Columbia Springs is located at 12208 SE Evergreen Hwy in Vancouver.
