Clatsop County Announces Parks Photo Contest Winners (Photo) - 10/15/26
ASTORIA, OR. — Clatsop County has announced the winners of the 2026 Parks Photo Contest, which invited residents and visitors to capture and share their favorite moments in County parks.
Winners were selected in two categories:
- Landscapes: Tom Grimm of Warrenton for a photo taken at Carnahan County Park
- People in Nature: Tiffany Levin of Cannon Beach for a photo taken at Klootchy Creek County Park
A total of 25 photos were submitted during the first year of the contest. The contest was created to highlight Clatsop County parks through the eyes of the people who visit and enjoy them. Submitted photos showcased local scenery, outdoor recreation, natural spaces, and visitor experiences across County parks.
Entries were reviewed by the Clatsop County Recreational Lands Planning Advisory Committee and judged on relevance to Clatsop County parks, visual impact, technical quality, originality, creativity, and public outreach value, including how well each image could help promote appreciation, stewardship, and responsible enjoyment of County parks.
The winning photographers will receive a Clatsop County parks pass. Winning photos may also be featured on the County website, social media, newsletters, and future parks materials.
Clatsop County thanks everyone who participated in the first year of the Parks Photo Contest and helped showcase the beauty and value of local public spaces.
