Clarkston, WA — The Clarkston School District Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Jordan Jennings as Principal of Heights Elementary.
To ensure continuity and stability for students, staff, and families, Superintendent Thaynan Knowlton has appointed Rebecca Lockhart as Interim Principal of Heights Elementary effective July 1, 2026.
Lockhart currently serves as the District's Executive Director of Student Services and has worked closely with students, staff, and families throughout Clarkston School District. In her current role, she oversees student support services and collaborates with schools across the district to help ensure student success.
"Rebecca is a dedicated educational leader who cares deeply about students, staff, and families," said Knowlton. “Her experience, relationships, and knowledge of our district make her well-suited to lead Heights Elementary during this transition."
The district is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and supporting the continued success of Heights Elementary. District leaders will work closely with staff and families to maintain the strong educational programs and positive school culture that students and families have come to expect.
The district appreciates Jordan Jennings' service to Heights Elementary and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
