7-Month-Old Child Taken In Vancouver; Clark County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help (Photo) - 08/17/26
The Washington State Patrol has issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office for seven-month-old Marcello Martinez, who was taken in the Vancouver area on August 16, 2026. Investigators believe Marcello may be in danger.
On August 16, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver after a victim reported that Raul Martinez, 37, violated a Domestic Violence No Contact Order.
During the incident, Raul allegedly assaulted and robbed the victim. Raul also allegedly assaulted the victim’s seven-month-old baby, Marcello, and took him without permission. Raul is Marcello’s father.
Marcello is 24 inches tall, weighs approximately 16 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be wearing a blue onesie with the words “Grandmas are the best” in neon lettering.
Raul is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be wearing tight sweatpants, a white shirt, and a blue/green jacket.
Investigators do not have a confirmed associated vehicle at this time.
