Road Rage Suspect Arrested After Attempting To Elude Deputies (Photo)

On July 17, 2026, at approximately 10:37 a.m., Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a reported road rage incident near NE 72nd Way and NE 154th Avenue in Vancouver, Washington. The suspect, 51-year-old Elisabeth Gordon, was reportedly driving a white mid-2000s GMC Yukon. During the incident, Gordon allegedly rear-ended the victim's vehicle.
Deputies later located Gordon driving near NE 137th Avenue and NE Padden Parkway. When deputies attempted a traffic stop, Gordon attempted to elude. A successful grappler deployment brought the vehicle to a stop near NE Centerpointe Drive and NE Andresen Road.
After the vehicle stopped, Gordon did not comply with deputies' verbal commands and was ultimately taken into custody with the assistance of a police K9.
Gordon was booked into the Clark County Jail on multiple offenses, including Assault II, Attempting to Elude, Hit and Run, and Resisting Arrest.
