Southwest Washington Independent Investigative Response Team (SWIIRT) - Vancouver Police Department Officer-Involved Shooting Investigation (Andresen Road), Release #12 -09/03/24

The Southwest Washington Independent Investigative Response Team (SWIIRT), led by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, is continuing the investigation of the Vancouver Police Department’s (VPD) officer-involved shooting (OIS) that occurred on June 17th, 2024, on NE Andresen Rd. in Vancouver, WA.

There are no changes from last week. Investigators are still awaiting laboratory results before submitting the case to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. They anticipate it may be several more weeks before they receive the results.

Per WAC 139-12-030, which governs independent investigations, additional updates will be provided weekly.
