The Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit has arrested and booked Beverly A. Tafolla, age 67, of Camas, WA, into the Clark County Jail on charges of Murder in the second degree, RCW 9A.32.050.
The deceased was identified as Robert A. Tafolla, age 68, of Camas, WA.
Robert was found to have suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and a .38 special revolver was recovered at the residence.
As a precaution, Beverly was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation prior to being booked into jail.
This investigation remains active and ongoing.
On 4/27/2023 at approximately 06:41 hours, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to a report of an assault with a weapon. The caller to 911 stated he had arrived at his parent’s residence and was telling dispatch that his adult stepfather had been shot, possibly by his mother.
The caller was in the residence talking to both his mother and dispatch as CCSO personnel arrived. CCSO was able to detain the mother and make the scene safe. CCSO and medical personnel entered the residence and found the 68-year-old male deceased.
Detectives from CCSO Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are on the scene and have taken the lead in this homicide investigation.
