Media Invitation To Santa's Posse Toy And Food Packaging Event 12/15/2022 (Photo) - 12/14/22

On December 15th, 2022, starting at 4:30pm, Clark County Sheriff Chuck Atkins and Sheriff-Elect John Horch will be at the Santa's Posse toy packaging event at the Clark County events Center Expo Hall. Volunteers will be sorting and packaging all the donated items to prepare them for delivery to families this Sunday. Both will be available to speak with the media about Santa's Posse and its impact on the community.

Santa's Posse is a partnership between the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the local community, working together to collect and distribute toys and food to make a special Christmas holiday for less fortunate families in our community.​

In 1997, Santa's Posse was created as a way to help families in need during the holiday season and to increase positive contacts between law enforcement and the community.

Partnerships with the community continue to grow each year. What started with delivery of food, gifts and personal care items to 25 families has now expanded to 1,500 families. In 2022, Santa's Posse will help provide Christmas for more than 4,800 children in our community!
