Initial interviews and scene evidence indicated that the driver of the vehicle, Faith Taylor, 18 of Battle Ground, was traveling north on NE 25th Avenue, making a left turn onto NE 81st Street.  Her vehicle was struck by the motorcycle, which was traveling south on NE 25th Avenue.  The motorcycle collided with the vehicle at the right rear quarterpanel.

The deceased motorcyclist was a 47 year old male.  The motorcyclist's name is being withheld at this time, pending notification of next of kin.

Taylor stayed at the scene and was cooperative with investigators.  The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.

NE 25th Avenue between NE 80th Street and NE 86th Street was closed for approximately 4 1/2 hours during the investigation.  The roadway has since re-opened.
