Assault suspect arrested after SWAT standoff - 10/05/19

On 10.04.19 Clark County Deputies were dispatched to a report of an assault.  The victims of the assault had left the residence and were reporting from a safe location. During the investigation, both victims (mother and daughter) reported the suspect (boyfriend of the mother) had pointed a gun at both of them and made threats to kill them.  

Probable cause for the crimes of Assault II – DV (with a firearm) 2 counts and Felony Harassment - DV were established. Efforts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful until 10.05.19.

On 10.05.19 at 1030 AM 9.1.1 received a call from one of the victims indicting the suspect had returned to the residence in which they all resided. Both victims fled and met with Patrol Deputies away from the residence.

Due to the violent nature of the crimes involved Patrol Deputies, Detectives from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and members form the Southwest Washington Regional SWAT team responded to the residence.  Efforts to make contact with the suspect were exhausted. A search warrant was obtained and entry into the residence was made by SWAT team members around 1:30 PM. The suspect was located inside the residence and taken into custody.

The suspect is identified as: Jorge Delgado-Perez 01.28.1982

He was booked into the Clark County Jail for 2 counts of Assault 2 – DV with a firearm and Felony Harassment-DV
