The deceased driver in this collision has been identified as CHRISTENSEN, Kaylene N., age 22. Christensen was a Washougal resident.

On 7/31/2019 at 10:32 pm CCSO Deputies and EMS units were dispatched to a single vehicle collision at NE 14th Street and NE 249th Avenue. The 911 caller reported a car had collided with a large tree at this location. Upon arrival, EMS located the vehicle and its driver, who was deceased inside the vehicle. The CCSO Traffic Unit responded and is investigating. The vehicle is an older model BMW sedan, and the deceased driver is an adult female. The driver has been identified but her name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
It is apparent that excessive speed is a causing factor in this collision.
