On 5/14 at 11:08 hours, EMS and CCSO Deputies responded to a three-vehicle head-on collision at Milepost 3 on Washougal River Road. Upon arrival, it was determined that the driver and sole occupant of one involved vehicle had suffered serious injury. The driver of this vehicle was transported to an area hospital via ambulance. The occupants of the other vehicles appear to have suffered minor injuries. The roadway is currently closed for investigative purposes and will be until further notice. We will update this as the status changes. CCSO Traffic Detectives are currently on scene.
As a reminder, fresh rainfall after a significant dry spell results in oily and slick pavement. Please drive with caution. At this time, we cannot rule in or out slick roadway as the cause in this collision.
