News Release
Vehicle collision results in fire - 05/14/18

On May 14th, 2018 at 2059 hours Clark County Deputies responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of NE 239th Street and NE 50th Avenue in Battle Ground.  Preliminary investigation indicates a Dodge Caravan was traveling eastbound on NE 239th Street and failed to yield to a Ford Escape, which was traveling southbound on NE 50th Avenue.  The collision caused the Ford Escape to roll, additionally causing the Dodge Caravan to ignite into flames.  The driver of the Ford Escape and a witness assisted in removing the driver and sole occupant of the Dodge Caravan before they were injured by the flames.  The driver and only occupant of both vehicles were transported to local hospitals with what appears to be minor injuries.
