Threatened Assault With A Bow And Arrow -04/05/18

On 4/4/2018 at approximately 8:30 pm depuities were sent to 7312 NE 128TH Ave. on a report of a possible disturbance.  The home owner and her adult daughter had fled the residence after being involved in an argument with her adult son.

The adult daughter reported to deputies that druing the argument, her brother picked up a compound bow with an arrow, pointed it at her while he was pulling back on the strings.  She immideatly closed a door that was between them.  She and her mother then fled the scene fearing the suspect may deploy the arrow against them.

Deputies went to the address to contact the suspect.  He refused to answer the front door, and was seen in the back yard on the patio.  Deputies went into the back yard to speak with the suspect, but he had went back inside his house.  As deputies approached the open sliding glass door the suspect appeared in the opening and pointed a bow and arrow at them.   The bow was pulled back and held in a ready shooting position. 

Deputies retreated towards cover and began attempts to communicate with the suspect.  Communications were unsuccessful.  A search warrant was written, and served by the Southwest Washington Regional SWAT team.  The suspect was taken into custody for several counts of Assault II.
