News Release
Sheriff's Office confirms, the Warren Forrest investigation remains active - 02/14/18

The Clark County Sheriff's Office remains fully committed to investigating all reported crimes that occur within our jurisdiction regardless of how old or complex these investigations may be.

The Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit, working in partnership with our Cold Case Unit routinely review cold case investigations in search of new witnesses or other evidence that could lead to a prosecution and conviction. This includes working with the families of our victims, to include providing those families with updates on progress made and on new information discovered.

The Warren Forrest investigation remains active. Recently, new information led detectives to believe that Mr. Forrest may be criminally linked to additional crimes. We are now in the process of sharing our new findings with the Clark County Prosecutor's Office.

As with any active investigation, specific details of our new findings will not be shared at this time. Additionally, it would not be appropriate for us to comment further on specific conversations between our detectives and the Prosecutor's Office.
