Clark County Sheriff's Office and CRESA 911 to receive CALEA Re-Accreditation - 01/10/18

CALEA Regional Program Manager, Mark Mosier will present Sheriff Chuck Atkins and CRESA Director David Fuller with certification declaring compliance with CALEA standards for public safety agencies on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018, 10 AM at the County Council Hearing Room 6th Floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. Vancouver, WA. Members of the public are welcome to attend the presentation.

The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) examines all aspects of a public safety agency policy and procedures, management, operations and support services. Verification of compliance with the Commission's state of the art standards is a highly prized recognition of public safety professional excellence. The Commission awarded the Clark County Sheriff's Office and CRESA-911 CALEA re-accreditation on November 25th, 2017.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office has been continuously CALEA accredited since 1986 and received their 10th award for Advanced Accreditation with Excellence.

CRESA received their 6th award with the enhanced "Certificate of Meritorious Accreditation."
CALEA accreditation is for four years.
