News Release
Robbery in rural Clark County - 12/14/17

On December 14, 2017 at approximately 12:45 pm deputies with the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Skamania County Sheriff's Office, and Officers with the Washougal Police Department responded to an attempted robbery at mile post 7.5 of the Washougal River Road. Deputies found that a package delivery driver pulled to the shoulder of the road to arrange items within his vehicle for delivery when two males pulled behind the driver in what was described as a silver Mazda sedan.

The driver of the delivery van was assaulted by both suspects in attempt to steal packages from his vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated by medical personal at a local hospital. This investigation is currently active and being investigated by the Clark County Major Crimes Team.
