MEDIA ADVISORY: Clark College Workforce Champions Recognition Breakfast Honors Regional Employer Partners - 09/24/26

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Please join Clark College for the Workforce Champions Recognition Breakfast on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:30 am on Clark College's main campus, located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way in Vancouver.

 

In honor of National Workforce Development month in September, Clark College is hosting this inaugural event celebrating regional employers who partner with the college to create opportunities for students, strengthen programs, and prepare students for successful careers. Whether they hired Clark students or graduates, provided internships, served on advisory committees, provided tuition assistance, or supported Clark and its students in other ways, these employers' collaboration and commitment help build a stronger workforce and a thriving regional economy.

 

Clark College will announce three Workforce Champions, and the nominees are:

  • Apex Air
  • City of Vancouver
  • Clark Public Utilities
  • Columbia Springs
  • Downtown Camas Association
  • Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF)
  • Educational Service District (ESD) 112
  • Evergreen Habitat for Humanity
  • Impact Electronic Solutions
  • Mackay
  • ModWright Instruments Inc.
  • Mortenson
  • OLS Technology
  • Pedigo Products
  • Providence
  • S&F Land Services
  • SEH America
  • Southwest Washington High Tech Council
  • TigerStop
  • U.S. Bank

  • Vancouver Public Schools
  • Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)
