News Release
Clackamas County opens up storm resource centers; Chair Smith asks neighbors to support their community - 02/17/21

Feb. 17, 2021

Clackamas County has set up two storm resource centers where community members who are without power can warm up, charge their phones and medical devices and get supplies necessary to continue to survive without power. We are working to provide additional sites in the coming days.

The locations are:

Clackamas County Fairgrounds
694 NE 4th Ave
Canby, OR 97013
Open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 17 to Friday, Feb. 19

Hope City Church
5197 SE King Road
Milwaukie, OR 97222
Open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 18

“We are asking everyone, if you are safe, please do you part in supporting your community,” asked Clackamas County Board Chair Tootie Smith. “We need all the help we can get. Please check on your neighbors who are less able to be without power or heat.”

People without power most likely will not be able to access the internet, television or radio to receive information on resources or ask for help. Please check on your neighbors, friends and family without power to ensure know where they can get help.

We are here to help. For resources visit https://www.clackamas.us/storm-resources
